Jörg Hoh created a good article on one aspect of Adobe Experience Manager network setup. Dispatchers can point to more than one AEM instance. But just because you can do it does not mean you should [place picture of a 15 year old boy with a mustache]. A very good way to set up Dispatcher is to have it only point to a single AEM instance.
